With over 500 retail locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position of Service Manager
In addition to selling tires and additional products and services, Service Managers direct the workflow of the Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians. By staging vehicle repair and maintenance work to ensure the timely and safe completion of high-quality automotive services, our Service Managers play a vital role in Mavis's ability to exceed customer expectations and generate repeat business. Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations. As the liaison between the customer and the retail store location personnel, Service Managers must explain clearly all repair and service work to the customer and answer any customer inquiries.

To be eligible for the position of Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
