RDS brand dock cross bracing hardware. The four clamp-on brackets fit 1.5" pipe stanchions and use 1/2" ID galv. pipe for the cross pieces. The "X" Brace Clamp holds everything perfectly rigid. All clamp fittings are solid cast aluminum. The galvanized pipes pictured are not included insofar as the length of those pipes is determined by the spacing on your project. The photos show a portion of landings and stairs I built 16 years ago using these products and they are as rigid and tight as the day I built them. I built a 600 foot long boardwalk (Yes, two football fields) through my swamp to get to Canadarago Lake using RDS hardware. I over bought the hardware at the outset of that project, and am now letting it go for a fraction of what this goes for new. Check out the RDS Dock Hardware website for current pricing.
