Selling a MFJ VERSA TUNER II MODEL 941D antenna tuner from my ham radio station. Here are is the information on the tuner.
I will be listing additional ham radio equipment and test equipment soon as I am downsizing.
The HFJ-94lD is designed to match vees, verticals, mobile whips, beams, random wires, and antennas fed by coax lines, balanced lines, or a single wire. A 1:4 balun is built in for connection to balanced lines.
This unit will handle up to 300 watts of RF output power from the transmitter from 160 through 10 meters. The MFJ-941D will monitor either SWR or RF transmitter power in two ranges, 30W or 300W. The antenna selector switch allows switching to one of the two coax fed antennas (direct or through tuner) and either a balanced line antenna or random wire antenna. A bypass position allows switching to an external dummy load or a direct coax antenna. The tuner is bypassed but NOT the meter circuit when the ANTENNA SELECTOR switch is switched to BYPASS, DIRECT COAX 1, or DIRECT COAX 2 positions. The tuner does not need any additional power connections as it works from the RF power of your transmitter/transceiver.
I tested the tuner today (March 16, 2026) on my transceiver on both coax connections. SWR was 1:1 when connected to a dummy load. SWR was less than 1.5 on my vertical as it needs some radials replaced. I checked the watt meter on the tuner and it read correctly. All controls worked.
Condition of the tuner electronically is excellent. Exterior of the tuner is also very good.
Includes a copy of the owner’s manual with a schematic.
I looked up prices on this tuner and range from $75 to $150. I am keeping the prices down since I am not using it.
Selling for $40 cash only and would prefer pickup in Herkimer, NY. I am only 1.5 miles from the NYS Thruway exit.
